About the Item

Designed by Bacci and Mazzoni for Giovannetti in the 1980s, this pair of Magia lounge chairs captures the playful geometry of Italian postmodernism. The tubular forms are upholstered in original cream striped fabric and feature rounded cushions set within deep seats. Built in movable lacquered wood trays hover over each armrest with sharp contrast and sculptural intent. Rarely seen as a pair and even less frequently with the matching sofa, these chairs stand out for their unusual silhouette and graphic presence.
