About the Item

A beautiful lounge chair, model “Prism”, designed by Erik Kolling Andersen and manufactured by Peder Pedersen in Denmark around 1950. This truly iconic piece has a very nice, rectangular yet ergonomic shape adds a sense of luxury and modernism to the design as well as an impressive seating comfort. Made of high quality tropical hardwood in a warm brown colour, newly upholstered in the highest quality cognac coloured leather. It’s the combination of materials together with the impressive finish of the chair, that gives it a warm and most inviting appeal. A fantastic find of mid-century Scandinavian design! The chair remains in very good, restored condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The upholstery is all new, professionally upholstered in Trento “Dark Copper” leather. It is restored according to it’s original standards with mostly original materials.
