Sigurd Ressell 'Falcon Chair' for Vatne Møbler, Norway 1970's
About the Item
The Falcon Chair is an absolute masterpiece, designed by Sigurd Ressel and manufactured by Vatne Møbler in Norway in the 1970s.
This iconic model has a high backrest with thicker cushioning to support the head and give you great comfort when sitting in this armchair.
With its beech frame and leather cushions, you sit comfortably and the Falcon Chair feels like you are lying in a hammock.
When purchasing a vintage model like this, it is important to look at the suspension points. These are the most vulnerable and are often restored. All these suspensions are photographed here for this clarity. The leather is in very good condition with slight traces of age and use. Very nice example.
