About the Item
Large and powerful high back lounge chair from the Swedish Modern era. Made from solid beech wood with natural leather that has aged into a beautiful cognac color. Made in Sweden during the 1950s. Very good vintage condition with age related wear and patina to the leather. The frame has only light wear from age and use.
The chairs clean style and powerful proportions are reminiscent to Swedish architects Carl-Axel Acking as well as John Kandell. A beautiful piece from the golden era of Swedish Modern design. The oversized armrests and the perfectly patinated original leather make this a stand out piece in any interior!
