Upholstered Lounge Chair with Ottoman, Europe 20th Century

About the Item

European furniture from the 20th century revolutionised the history of what we consider modern design today. Lounge chairs in particular have become unrivaled references in it. The curved and organic lines of this design create an elegant silhouette for both the chair and ottoman. The chair features a sleek, minimalist profile with no arms, allowing for freedom of movement and a clean, open aesthetic. Not to be confused with a footstool, as one common distinction between ottomans and footstools today is that ottomans may be designed as a matching counterpart to an existing chair or sofa, where as a footstool always an independently designed piece.
