About the Item
Lounge chair and ottoman in the style of the Pernilla 69 model designed by Bruno Mathsson. This armchair, produced by Danish manufacturer Nielaus & Jeki in the 1980s, replicates Mathsson's original design with remarkable similarity and high-quality craftsmanship, making it difficult to tell the difference. The curved beech wood technique, the jute fabric, the padded leather, everything is identical and only a few very small, almost invisible details allow you to tell the difference. This armchair is incredibly comfortable and its ottoman will help you relax completely! The problem is not getting into it, but getting out of it! The leather is in very good condition throughout, with no snags or tears, and has been treated with a special cream. This set is very lightweight and can therefore be easily moved around the living room or house. For this manufacturer, it all began in 1959, when Jeki Møbler A/S was founded as a furniture upholstery factory. In 1973, two employees of Jeki Møbler decided to start their own business and founded Nielaus Møbler ApS. The distinctive name of the company, Nielaus, is immediately associated by many with the German language, but in reality, it is just parts of the founders' surnames, Nielsen and Lauersen, which have been combined to form a single word.

Vintage Danish Glass Vase by Per Lutken for Holmegaard in 1960s
By Per Lutken for Holmegaard
Located in SAINT-YRIEIX-SUR-CHARENTE, FR
Glass vase (H:25cm), design by Per Lutken (1916-1998), published by the famous Danish glassworks Holmegaard. The bluish tone, the thickness of the glass visible at the top is an integral part of the design of this vase, dated and signed underneath.
Per Lutken was a famous Danish glassmaker who joined Holmegaard in 1942 and worked there until his death. He contributed to the revival of the glass industry, which was running out of steam at the time, by bringing his pure and timeless style, which has become a classic of Scandinavian design and can be found in many Danish and Swedish homes. He was very productive and for decades created numerous models that made the glassware industry successful in Denmark and around the world. The Holmegaard factory was founded in 1823 in Næstved, southwest of Copenhagen, and started its activity by manufacturing green and brown bottles, and later turned to art glass. Count Christian Conrad Danneskiold-Samsøe bought the Holmegaard estate and realised that the local peat could be used as fuel. He asked the Danish king...
