About the Item

Marketed as “The World’s Most Comfortable Chair” and featured in movies in the early James Bond films and dubbed the “Blofeld” chair. This stunning beauty has undergone a transformation, the frame on both the chair and the stool has been expertly restored by our in-house team and both the chair and stool has been upholstered in a gorgeous green cotton velvet, which is highly durable. This chair is very comfortable to sit in, nearly so that you don’t want to get up out of it. The polished frame stands out beautifully and is a nice contrast between the polished wood, chrome and the green velvet fabric. Seat Height: 53 cm. Seat Depth: 50 cm. We have recently upholstered this in a high-quality, durable cotton velvet where we have replaced the foam and dacron, in theory a brand new chair on a vintage frame.

The 366 armchair is an icon of the polish design of the PRL period. The famous armchair was designed in 1962 by the Polish interior designer and furniture designer Jozef Marian Chierowski. Produced in the Lower Silesian Furniture Factory in Swiebodzice. The chair has a simple, modernist form. It consists of an upholstered seat combined with a wooden backrest. The organic shape is typical of the 1960s style. The chair is very ergonomic and comfortable, as the furniture designs of that time were largely focused on the user. Due to its small size, the furniture fits perfectly into the interiors of contemporary apartments, perfectly meeting the needs of customers.
