Leather Executive Desk Chair by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani Pace, 1980s

About the Item

Elegant Guido Faleschini high back executive swivel desk chair by i4 Mariani for The Pace Collection. The seat and back retain the original high-quality and supple cognac / caramel color leather upholstery. The cushioned seat sits atop of a five star chrome base on moveable casters for ease of relocation. Two sweeping thick tubular chrome arms have comfortable padded arms on top. The leather covered back is accented with chrome hardware. Under the seat are levers for tilt and height adjustment. Such incredible style, no wonder these were featured in the hit Michael Douglas movie "Wall Street" in 1987, these chairs were located in his high rise executive office and can be seen throughout the movie. Such high quality of materials in these stylish task chair, but the true selling point is comfort. The seat and seat back, combined with the thick padded arms make this a dream for those who demand ultimate comfort and ergonomics in their executive or management work chair. The neutral brown / tan leather has a bit of orange red tones in it, which can also be described as a deep cognac color, of this task chair would complement various locations such as a living room, den, games room or office space. It would also be perfect in a hospitality or corporate location, such as; a boutique hotel lobby reception or task desk, cocktail bar, members club, workspace studio, or executive office. Perfect fit for Mid-Century Modern homes or offices, but also a great fit for Postmodern and contemporary spaces. Also consider as a splash of juxtaposition in a classical, traditional, transitional, or mixed vintage styled room.
