These chairs, part of the "Norman" series by Luciano Frigerio, were manufactured in Desio, Italy in 1970. They are crafted from solid African walnut and leather, boasting style and functionality. The collection is inspired by Frigerio's passion for playing the piano and creating unique furniture pieces, with the prominent display of piano keys as a design feature. Frigerio's visits to esteemed artisans' studios, such as Canturine, where he met renowned Masters like Gio' Ponti, Franco Albini, Carlo de Carli, and Tapio Wirkkala, helped grow his small family business into an international company. Their philosophy of creating distinct and finely crafted pieces from cabinet makers and architects expanded from the 70s to the 90s, with ten showrooms established in major Italian cities.
