Where to begin, this is one of the best looking Gainsborough armchairs I have seen in a long time, it has a wonderful form which has aged spectacularly. The frame is beech with reeded legs, the leather upholstery was fitted plain, hand nail tacked in place then hand dyed
Condition wise, the chair has been washed back hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, it is the only chair of its type in the world with this exact colour finish
