1900's Empire Ivory Tan Silk/Satin Upholstered Settee
About the Item
This early 1900's settee is a unique Empire style with simplistic and elegant lines with scrolls and intricately carved claw feet. This piece is done in a beautiful ivory and tan silk fabric on a black lacquered mahogany wooden frame perfectly and solidly balanced, both structurally and creatively!
The fabric has a few areas on the end where there is some small scuffs or mars. The wooden frame is in wonderful condition for a piece this age. There are some character marks indicative of age as to be expected.
This settee is a true work of art in the furniture world and would be an phenomenal addition to many interior design concepts.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Very solid! The black lacquer surface is in great condition with a few minor scuffs/dings at the feet and edging that show the reddish mahogany beneath. The fabric has a few areas that show scuffs or staining. Please review the images closely.
