Vintage Giltwood Love Seat Conversation Settee Mid 20th Century
About the Item
This is a fantastic English vintage giltwood love seat or conversation "Sociable Settee" mid 20th century in date.
It is of clover leaf outline and has four individual seats with stylish carved arms and frieze.
The settee has buttoned red velvet upholstery and stands on turned legs.
In Victorian times conversation sofas were usually placed in the middle of the room for ladies who could freely engage in conversation with other guests.
It is a lovely piece of furniture which is certain to make it a treasured addition to one of the rooms in your home.

In excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned and polished in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
