Antique French Carved Walnut Side Chair With Needle Point Upholstery

A fine French Victorian hand carved walnut high back chair with lovely ecclesiastical detailing on barley twist legs and united by a classic turned H-stretcher.
Winged putto flanking a center scrolling crest and profuse grape leaf carving to the inside back. Old if not original needle point upholstery.
The chair would work beautifully in your living room, study, law office or foyer in a residential or commercial space and would make a fine statement piece.
Overall the chair displays excellently with style and visual appeal. The fabric is in good order throughout in common with the whole chair with strong joinery.
