Art Deco Vintage Walnut and Blue Velvet Duo Pair of Side Chairs or Long Chairs in the circle of Wiener Werkstätte Hugo Gorge Dagobert Peche Vienna circa 1925.
A beautiful pair of side chairs or long chairs from walnut and a new cover from electric blue velvet with cords.
This pair of side chairs or chairs designed in the circle of Hugo Gorge and
Dagobert Peche features a wonderful veneered seat frame from walnut veneers with slightly curved edges for a stunning appearance.
The wooden frame is carefully cleaned and shellac polished by hand. So the wonderful beauty from the natural material creates warm depth.
An amazing example from the Viennese Art Deco period.
A matching pair of nightstands and a small writing table shows brass fittings manufactured by Wiener Werkstätte and designed by Hugo Gorge,
Brass fittings are documented in the Museum for Applied Art in Vienna.
