About the Item

American Queen Anne old growth mahogany upholstered slip seat side chair. The square seat is fitted to a conforming scolloped profile frame on cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. The seat is upholstered with horse hair fill and covered in a blue marine wool. The legs are joined by turned stretchers. American, Boston, circa 1710-20.
