Circa 1760 George III side chair, English. Simple & handsome. Shaped crest rail; great molded edges which move around the entire outline of the chair. Of note are the finely shaped returns on the modified Marlborough beaded front legs - the legs outset from the chair seat rails. Simple arched cutwork backsplat. Stretchered base. Slip seat.
