About the Item

Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of George Hepplewhite design Shield back side chairs depicting the Price of Wales feathered back circa 1880 Please note the delivery fee listed is just a guide, it covers within the M25 only for the UK and local Europe only for international, if you would like an accurate quote please send me your postcode and I’ll provide you with the exact price These are a very good looking and well made pair of chairs, they are quite rare in the sense that the Price of Wales feathers cover the entire back panel, I have seen one or two examples before where the feathers are a small detail at the top but never something as grand as this set The pair have been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, they will have some age and use related patina marks here and there due to honest age and fair use, the fabric is in usable order but I would suggest reupholstery to something more in keeping with the grandeur these deserve Dimensions Height:- 94cm Width:- 51cm Depth:- 53cm Seat height:- 45cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid
