An outstanding pair of Arabian Damascus chairs made from local specimen timber and bone. Each chair demonstrates intricate parquetry in the traditional Islamic taste bearing geometric motifs and shapes. Exquisitely crafted and in superb condition. Acquired from a private collection of Islamic art in England. The price is for the pair. Syrian, circa 1900.
