Cornelius Louis (COR) Alons (1892-1967) was a Dutch interior and Industrial designer. He studied at the Minerva Academy in Groningen (1911-1913) and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (1913-1917). Went after his training to work as an interior designer at the firm H. Pander & Zn. He designed furniture, bookplate, interiors and stained-glass windows. He was among the first generation of interior designers. Designed not only furniture, but also looked at where the furniture was placed in the room.
