A charming vintage Swiss or southern German carved and painted board chair with turned legs. Skillfully painted and structurally strong this chair would be a sweet accent chair in a corner. A removable wedge holds the backrest to the seat portion.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Small random scratches. Structurally sound.

A charming vintage oil on fiber board painting of a young child with a blue and white cup and a piece of bread (?). Painted in shades of warm brown, pinks, maroons and whites. Surface abrasions and scratches are evident from rough handling. The board is stable and the paint is not flaking. There is some craquelure in the upper left and lower right quadrants but it is not loose. Framed in an old Victorian frame which has some losses due to age but is stable and gives the painting character. Overall just a fun and unique piece. Painting is unsigned. Unsure of country of origin. Additional detail photos available upon request.
