About the Item

Pair of Spanish slipper chairs designed by Pierre Lottier for Valmazan, 1940s. Oak wood structure with curved and harmonious lines where the dark chocolate brown leather backrest sits through brass studs. This chair became very popular in Spain in the 40s and 50s thanks to the design of the French interior designer Pierre Lottier, who settled in Barcelona, for the Spanish brands Valenti, Valmazan and Almazan, which made various versions of this chair and other seats and footrests of the same style, always using oak wood and leather as the only materials. At the base you can see the Valmazan seal (see last photo). Very good condition, with minimal signs of use. Nice patina.
