This gorgeous and large scale modernist sofa was handcrafted by artisans in New York state, by High Style Deco, based off a design from the 1940s. Spanning over eight feet in length, this beautiful sofa offers elegant proportions and sweeping dramatic curves throughout that complement its large scale. It seamlessly combines the old world sophistication and grandeur of 1940s Europe with the economy of modern American design, achieving a sensibility that is at once dramatic and understated. Its clean lines and monochromatic grisaille palate make this piece is as versatile as it is stunning, blending perfectly with any style of interior from Art Deco to contemporary. It has been newly upholstered in an platinum velvet and is in excellent condition. This piece can be custom made to the client's specifications, such as in bespoke dimensions as well as in the client's own materials.
