About the Item
We are pleased to offer you this elegant and truly exceptional French Neoclassical sofa made in the 19th Century. Neoclassical pieces are distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design, excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design. This early settee or sofa has a lovely walnut wood / veneer accentuated by a deep amber tone and rich patina. The new neutral upholstery will complement any decor and serves to highlight the exquisite neoclassical inlaid marquetry. The backrest, arms and apron of the sofa have gorgeous crafted rounded ends and floral inlay. The piece is in very good condition, sits well and is very comfortable. Found in France near Paris! #6119
