Opulent walnut canapé or sofa made in the country French provincial or Louis XV taste. The sofa features an elaborately carved case with scrolling acanthus and floral sprays. The frame is upholstered with a stunning French blue velvet giving the sofa a strong visual focal point. The case is supported by short cabriole legs ending with scroll feet. The handsome profile is beautifully finished on all sides. The generous seat has a button tufted back and sides fitted with a loose seat cushion. From an estate in Beverly Hills, CA.
