About the Item
The Karu Sofa is a contemporary update of a classic design first produced in Finland by the Haimi Oy company in the 1940s. The inviting curved arms and subtle winged back are the epitome of the post-war Nordic aesthetic. Karu offers perfect proportions for a bedroom or living room chair. This example is upholstered in genuine Australian sheepskin and has custom solid oak ball feet.
The sofa legs are available in oiled oak, fumed oak, walnut. The frame is made of solid beechwood and the seat and back are fully sprung to ensure maximum comfort. These sofas are upholstered in luxurious shearling from New Zealand available in your choice of 4 different colours. Other upholstery options are also available by request including Mohair velvet and boucle fabric.
