A rare freeform sofa by the Japanese designer Taichiro Nakai, in cherry wood, black lacquered metal and flecked fabric (Pierre Frey), manufactured by La Permanente Mobili, Italy. The model was designed for and shown during the exhibition “La Mostra Selettiva del Mobile”, Galleria Mobili d’Arte in Cantù (Italy) from 17th September to 5th October 1955 Circa 1955.
