A truly remarkable find, I have never seen another Bulster arm sofa like this before, the only other example I've come across was a copy by George Smith. This is a period Victorian piece, it has the original stamp to the base, the leather is wonderfully aged and distressed colour wise as you can see in the pictures, the frame is coil sprung everywhere so the back rests, arms and seat base, you have feather filled cushions to the base and the back rest is also feathers, all in all this is a wonderful sofa
Condition wise as mentioned the leather colour hasn't been restored, it has lots of patina and marks all of which add to the antique look and feel, I can have the piece fully restored and hand dyed either green or brown if the new owner wishes, there is naturally a cost involved which I can quote for happily
