We are delighted to offer for sale this original fully restored late Victorian, circa 1890 Panelled oak Arts & Crafts Mission sofa buttoned in the Chesterfield manor Please note the delivery fee is just a guide, for an accurate quote please send me your postcode Have you ever seen a finer example of a late Victorian Gentleman’s club sofa! What a stunning and rare find, we have taken this piece through the full restoration process to include a new premium leather cattle hide English fully aniline plain russet leather base, the arms have been screwed dowelled and secured, one back panel had come loose which has been put back in place, the piece has then been fully hand dyed this lovely deep cigar brown leather colour, a new hessian base cover for the coil sprung platform and finally the frame has been stained waxed and polished You will never see a finer example of this type of sofa and never see another in this condition, this is 10/10 the most desirable piece on the market today, the interest and value will only go up as time goes on The base is coil sprung as mentioned, very thick and exceptionally comfortable Dimensions Height: 74.5cm Width: 230cm Depth: 90.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask Any questions please feel free to ask before you bid Delivery or collection This item is available for collection from our Wimbledon warehouses SW19-3BE, we can have it delivered nationwide to include Scotland Wales and Ireland, please contact me with your postcode for a delivery quotation, please be sure to include which item you would like to buy as the price is determined on size and distance, if you would like more than one piece of furniture we offer a substantial discount on the second and third item, for international shipping please view the below information Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description around condition Please also ask any questions before you bid and not after, all of our items are sold as seen and as listed Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
