Vintage 1980s Italian Sofa in Black Leather and Lacquer Wood, Space Age Style
About the Item
Very cool and unusual, imposing, three-seater sofa in black calf leather with a black lacquer wood structure.
In true 1980s fashion, the structure is avant-garde and almost "aerodynamic" in a way, with rounded corners and a nice decorative fluting running all around. The black lacquer finish reflects what's around the sofa, making it almost look like it's floating in the room.
It's preserved in good conditions, yet it shows some signs of use and would probably benefit from a polishing of the structure. The leather is instead in great shape, showing minimal signs and still very smooth and even in the color.
