About the Item

This early 20th century folding chair from Germany is an excellent example of the black forest style. The piece has a rustic-looking seat made of wood and a wood carved backrest. The stool has a simple, understated design which is typical of early 20th century garden or yard furniture. The wood is slightly weathered and has a warm, natural hue, adding to the overall rustic aesthetic. The stool also has a strong sense of history, having been bought from an estate sale in Nuremberg, Germany. This adds to the charm and character of the piece, making it a unique and beautiful example of 19th century era. It would make a great addition to any yard, porch or deck. Measurements folded: Approx. 58 inches high, 24 inches wide and 10 inches deep.
