Using plywood as a medium for artistic expression, the 5P1R4L, D0U8L3 and 7R1PL3 are conceptual new takes on “future wood” furniture that embrace the tension between digital design and physical craftsmanship.
Featuring a sculptural new bench, side table and coffee table that are each finished with surreal colorization, Ardolino taps on Timbur’s signature, complex process of stack lamination, which utilizes advanced robotics and CNC manufacturing to bring these large-scale, geometric pieces to life.
