Large Scale African Ashanti Stool

About
Large scale African wood stool, hand carved by an Asante or Ashanti artist, Ghana, at least circa 1950s, possibly much earlier. This came from the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Alan Goldberg of Atlanta, GA. They were world travelers from the 1930s-1980s, taking numerous trips to Africa and Asia. This stool is believed to be at least circa 1950s based on its circa 1950s cushion.
