A perfectly patinated and iconic late 19th century ‘Thebes’ stool in carved solid oak, designed by Leonard Wyburd and retailed by Liberty & Co. London. Based on an ancient Egyptian stool dating from 1550-1300 BC, an example of which can be found in the British Museum.
