About the Item

This lovely pair of Gustavian style Swedish stools are a special find due to their size. They each rest on tapered fluted legs while intricate carving along the skirt also adds an elegant touch to the pair. Restored, solid/stable and ready to be enjoyed. Later professionally painted in layered shades of white all lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this exceptional pair. Seat cushions are covered in simple black linen fabric with visible staples around. All scratches, cracks, dings, or age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this pair.
