Each seat is cut from a single plank, the grain running fluidly from end to end, terminating in gently rounded edges that soften their visual austerity. The silhouette is reduced to its essence—two volute-shaped legs rising from shoe-foot bases, joined invisibly with hand-cut mortise joints.
