Pair of cantilever tubular steel Bauhaus stools by Mart Stam

About the Item

Pair of original cantilever tubular steel hockers designed by Dutch architect Mart Stam in 1920's. This pieces were manufactured under Thonet license by Mücke & Melder company, former Czechoslovakia in early 1930's. Cream white lacquered plywood and chrome plated steel. Both stools are in good original condition with some traces of wear and age, particularly on chromed parts. Structurally sound.
