Pair of Gio Ponti style sculptural stools with newly upholstered black faux leather seats.
According to the Gio Ponti Archives the original design of these stools was Based Upon the model 687 chair for Cassina in 1953.
One can also observe the distinct leitmotiv of Ponti's Uccello/Ucelli little bird sculptures.
These stools appear to be on a slightly larger scale than other known documented editions. Measures: 25.5" x 20' x 24" (seat height 19")
