Pierre Chareau SN3 Stool in Patinated Steel and Black Wood, 1980s Reissue

About the Item

SN3 stool designed by Pierre Chareau, originally conceived in the 1930s and reissued in France during the 1980s. This edition faithfully reproduces the original design, with a patinated steel structure and a subtly curved wooden seat finished in black. Chareau, best known for the Maison de Verre, brought an architectural sensibility and industrial precision to his furniture pieces. The SN3 reflects his mastery of geometric balance and the interplay between solid and void. Elegant and sculptural, it functions both as a design object and a functional seat. A rare opportunity to acquire a high-quality reissue of one of Chareau’s most iconic pieces. Wear consistent with age and use.
