Mid-Century German Space Age Office Swivel Chair by Egon Eiermann, 1960s

About the Item

Mid century office chair with upholstery in a special color. The seat shell is reminiscent of saarinen's organic design language. Armrests and backrest blend harmoniously. Materiality and workmanship are very high quality. The seams are deliberately placed and structure the seat shell. The fabric is in red and shows a visible structure. The chair is swivel and height adjustable. A special detail is the simple black lever of the height adjustment. The chair has a chrome 5-star base. the chair is in a very good condition with traces of use. The upholstery is soft and in very good condition. The upholstery was professionally cleaned by vitra service and the gas spring was renewed.
