Mid-century swedish lounge swivel chair with Ottoman by Göte Möbler, 1960s
About the Item
Comfortable swivel lounge chair with ottoman, produced by Göte Möbler Sweden during the 1960s. The feet are in bentwood, a solid metallic structure ensures comfort between several positions that can be selected with the lever. The covering is in a nice thin type of leather that resembles Ostrich leather.
Everything is in good condition, light wear on the wood varnish, almost no traces of use otherwise.
Göte Öhrskog (1916 -2006) was born in Virserum but grew up in Öhr's parish.
In 1944 Göte came to Nässjö where he became a salesman in the furniture industry.
In 1953, his company Göte-Möbler began manufacturing its own furniture. The first product was the "Vilgott" armchair, which was followed by, among others, "RONDO" and the swivel armchair "SLIM".
