A Antique hardwood Child’s Windsor arm chair with the classic hoop back with spindles and a shaped seat. Raised on splayed turned legs with turned H stretcher.
Measures: H. 25 1/2", W. arms 16", W. seat 14", Depth 15", seat H. 11 1/2"
Condition: There is expected and enhancing wear to the crest rail with some small stable age cracks, expected wear to the seat, arms and feet with the presentation being rustic and authentic.

A rare and exceptionally well-preserved child's Windsor armchair, crafted in Buckinghamshire, England circa 1820. This charming and finely scaled example exemplifies early 19th-century English vernacular design, made predominantly of richly figured yew wood and ash, with a beautifully grained elmwood seat carved from a single plank.
The hooped back is flanked by hand-turned spindles, flowing gracefully into shaped arms supported by balustar-turned arm supports. The seat is deeply sculpted and retains a warm, timeworn patina, showcasing the natural beauty of the elm.
