Very Rare and Fine 19th Century High Back Windsor Armchair

About the Item

A very rare and fine 19th century Windsor armchair, stunningly hand carved and of exceptional quality with richly patinated woods comprising of ash and elm. The high hoop back with shaped, central fret cut back splat with decorative scroll motif design, flanked with an arrangement of turned spindles raised over curved, hoop arms with fine ring turned arm supports above a moulded and well figured saddle shaped seat, supported on outswept ring and baluster turned legs united with elegant crinoline stretcher.
