About the Item

An early 19th century (possibly late 18th century) American Wingback style Gentleman's Chair. Sturdy and sound with a nice generous seat. In need of new upholstery. When this chair was upholstered sometime in the 1970's springs were installed in the seat. In very good condition, some very minor nicks in the mahogany as to be expected of a chair this age. American, late 18th - early 19th century.
