About the Item

This Austrian Midcentury cozy and highly comfortable blue boucle fabric Lounge Chair was designed by one of the the most important Austrian Post War Architects Oswald Haerdtl, who studied and worked together with Josef Hoffmann. The Chair features a Wooden Frame with Walnut Legs, completely restored and upholstered with a new top quality blue and very soft fabric. it is highly comfortable to sit. This Armchairs provenance is directly from a Viennese Villa, Villa Pertl, which was designed by Haerdtl in 1957. We can also offer a second one and a three seat sofa which are currently not restored. Pleas let us know if you are interested! The pictures show the whole set in their original setting in the Villa.
