A beautiful industrial-style haberdashery countertop display case / chest of drawers or store sewing thread yarn cabinet cabinet from the 1930s. Crafted from wood, it features eight drawers with metal handles, made for Kette / Harlander Baumwollspinnerei und Zwirnfabrik in Austria. With nice decorative prints on all sides: "KETTE Nähfaden Merzerisiert“ These decorative cabinets were originally used to display and sell spools of twine and sewing silk in haberdasheries. Today, these charming vintage pieces are sought after for their versatility and aesthetic appeal. The cabinet is in good vintage condition, showcasing a beautiful patina throughout, all glasses on the fronts of the drawers are intact.
