17th Century Walnut Carved Trunk From Spain

About the Item

This Spanish beautifully carved walnut trunk from the 1600’s is one of the most handsome I’ve come across in the last ten years. It’s perfect for the end of a hall with a beautiful mirror or painting above or used as a coffee table. In fact there are several uses. It’s literally a work of art in itself. The top does come off. It has hinges that have since worn down and would need to have repairs if you wanted to open the top without taking it off. There is also a small box attached to the inside top that has a lid that opens. 64 3/4”w x 22”d x 26 1/8 “t.
