Breathtaking & Practical! This 19th century French Gothic revival blanket chest / chest. Made out of solid European oak, fully hand carved with much attention to detail & exceptional craftsmanship by a master carver. With gorgeous pair of hand forged hinges on the top. superb detail!
The chest is highly decorated on all 3 sides, book carved panels and 3 gothic cathedral arches panels. This chest looks gorgeous in any room, at the end of your bed as a blanket chest / behind your sofa / side table coffee table maybe even as a television stand. The patina on the oak is breathtaking, this chest is a great addition to any room.
