A vintage Chinese leather blanket chest from the Mid-20th Century with reddish brown patina, brass hardware and beautifully weathered appearance. Created in China during the midcentury period, this lacquered leather trunk showcases a reddish brown patina with distressed finish. The piece features a rectangular lid opening thanks to an ornate brass lock with pierced scrolling motifs, to reveal a simple wooden interior. The façade is accented in the corner with pierced brass details. Boasting a deep reddish brown patina, this Chinese lacquered leather blanket chest from the mid 20th century will make for a great decorative addition to any bedroom or living room.
