About the Item
An impressive and monumental shelving unit in black carrara marble with asymmetrical raw edges and clear tempered glass. This piece has been made in late 1980s early 1990s by Stone International S.P.A. This shelving unit has been imported from Italy in the 1990s and remained ever since to the same owners in UK.
This shelving unit consists of two black marble heavy pillars where they house the glass shelvings. There are currently five glass shelves, but it can take an extra one, as there are fixings on the marble. This unit would be perfect for displaying your collections of objects either its books, picture frames, vases, or statues. The distance of the shelves is ideal for your display items.
Considering that the glass shelves are one centimetre thick and tempered they can hold weight. Each glass shelve has chipped corners but this does not affect their stability or the visual result because they are hidden.
