Early 20th century empire revival Swedish birch bookcase circa 1900.
Superb quality piece of Swedish made furniture with influences from Biedermeier and empire periods.
Stepped top with ebonised plinth, with a further ebonised element to the architectural top. Main body is fitted with 4 original shelves veneered in matching wood, which provides plenty of space for a book collection or decorative items. Slightly rounded edges to the sides. Standing on a plinth base.
Original rich colour. Very minor surface marks to woodwork.
